Della and Jennie, we thank your for your love and encouragement! Cam has been taking medication, and been more comfortable. He is not on narcotics, however. Whatever works, I say!
When he started going to therapy with Leighton, they made a goal to have him crawling by the end of June. They had to make a new goal because he IS crawling. I made a video of it, and if I can figure out how to put it online somehow, I will give all of you the link. It's a slow and frustrating process, but it's a BIG start!
I picked up Cam's brother from the airport today. He's a chiropractor, and is evaluating Cam's muscles as he moves his legs. Some movements are deliberate, and some are from the pelvis. Either way, for now it's marvelous. Things are starting to fire where they should. Since he's started doing physical things, there has been no edema in his feet. Those poor things looked like sausages by the end of the day. We would have to prop them up at night, and then it hurt his back. No problem, now!
Jacob made the performance dance team that practices 3 hrs. a day, has a 2-hour dance class in the morning, and helps the beginners first thing in the morning learn the cha-cha. He is in heaven! So much
more safe than football.......
Jon (Cam's brother) is entertaining Jacob in the living room, and I am enjoying it, too! Cam's in the shower, so he can't hear.
Well, we are slowly de-junking, and it's almost fun. August (home makeover time) is coming quickly.
Meredith got a job at a Mexican restaurant, and today is her first day. It was a long one for her, and she should be very tired when she gets home. A dumb joke to end the night.
A Polish dog got caught in a trap. He chewed off three legs and STILL couldn't get free!
